Thought of the day; What made the Montgomery Bus Boycott successful is that there was a clear legal goal; the desegregation of public transportation. Blacks in Montgomery, following the lead of the SCLC, boycotted for almost an entire year until the goal was achieved. Our marches, demonstrations, boycotts and die-ins are all a must and there must be a larger goal including securing the indictments; independent federal prosecutors with greater penalties are absolutely necessary in these cases because local DAs/ADAs cannot be trusted to prosecute the very people on whom they rely to prosecute criminal cases. Otherwise all our outrage will be repeated time and time again. #blacklivesmatter
