Thought of the day by Jacqueline Burks Taylor: My personal thought of the day. My youngest son may be gone from Earth; and my tears may flow from my face. This mother is a proud mother. Proud that God allowed me to hear my childs first cry when he came into the world. Proud that I wiped his first tear. Proud when someone hurt his feelings and I told him it was ok. Proud when he told me he liked his first crush. Proud that I heard him play and argue with his siblings. Proud to see him walk his first step. Proud to hear him call me mom. Yes he had his temper. But that was just him. What child doesnt? Proud every time he made a new achievement he stated....ma look what I did. Proud to tell him he was better than some might have said he was. Proud that I had chance to see all his firsts. Proud that God allowed me to be the first woman in his life. No one can remove that status from me. So see God allowed him to make all his achievements. Now God told him Hey Robert we had an agreement, When your work was done its time to come home . A proud mother is who I am. So my tears are because I love my baby boy so much. Cant you see? Tears are what you see, but know that I am praising God inwardly. He gave me Robert for 19 years and that is how it is ultimately.
