Thought of the evening... Good and Evil are a concept fabricated by the human mind in an effort to simplify the actions and consequences of everything around them. The reality is that the only thing that matters is the fact of what happened, whether people deem it good or evil. Imagine if you would, a world of opposites. You are raised to believe that killing is right and good, whereas helping people is a sin. Being charitable would send you straight to hell, whereas being greedy and glutinous would send you to heaven. Now if the people of Earth encountered these people, they would be deemed as evil and vile and quite frankly it would seem they live in hell, yet to the indigenous people, we are the evil ones as with our thoughts of them, we contradict everything they believe in. And so we reach a stalemate and must ask ourselves, what truly is good and evil if not a false justification for everything we do? We are the only species on Earth that have this concept, animals dont adhere to it - they do what they must and care not for the consequence. Sure some may have emotions like us, but nothing like the scale of our own. So without Good and Evil there is just life constantly changing and adapting to the actions of ourselves, some of which may be highly questionable to others, but none of which can truly be deemed as good or evil.
