Thought some might want this information about the West Main Road Construction. Ive had MANY issues with their crew and their lack of respect of this community & their poor attitudes. From them ripping up my sprinkler systems and just leaving it, to them driving their heavy loaded truck across my concrete parking lot causing cracks, tapping into my water line without permission to a skid loader operator telling me to get my butt back inside my store when I tried to keep them from more damage, along with some other choice statements I wont print here. I have kept silent on this and have done my best to communicate with the chief of this crew. But.. As I have chatted with others I have found I am not the only person to have issues. To say the least. Was just on the phone with him. As I expected this project was to be fully complete by this week.. we can all see this is NOT going to be the case. He informed me they would complete ONE side by Thanksgiving and opening both sides once again. Then.. come back in the spring to start on the other side of HWY 14. Today they are in front of Mega Music finally doing driveways & Sidewalks. It has been a month.. ugh.. This will be great once it is finished. But..this is one of the most unorganized, slow working, unprofessional, unprepared crew I have seen in a loooong time. Yes we have had rain this summer..which is nice but.. the last two month have been almost perfect... and yes. he did use bad weather as an excuse. In closing. Not here just to vent. but to inform and ask any other business owners or anyone in the area to contact me about any issues you have had.. I think it is time to make our voices heard to CDOT and others about this failure. Can only imagine what a Disaster it will be next spring with the same crew.
