Thought this might brighten up someones day.... Speaking to a client about a prospective project, they drop into the conversation that a local cardiff competitor had been in to talk to them two days before us. Client goes on to mention that the other company were specialists in their field and that they have X amount of years combined digital marketing experience etc etc. I nearly fell off my chair when they mentioned, that the competitor suggested to the client that they do not actually need a website. So how are they expected to provide SEO and PPC services I wonder, of which they are trying to sell to the client, suggestions please....
