Thought you might like to see the fancy gated motel we called home in the heart of downtown KC this weekend. I admit to feeling a little Leary when I spied that gate Friday night. Now I choose to see it as creating a feeling of exclusivity instead of a need to protect guests and their vehicles. The trees were a nice touch to create a park-like setting and obscure the large building across the street. It was really a very nice place.
