Thoughts and Prayers are needed once again. My sisters and I just found out this week that my WONDERFUL Mom of 83 years has lung cancer. She is one heck of a fighter, but she has chosen not to take any treatment for the cancer. There is no prognosis since it takes a biopsy to determine the outcome. She is weak but has good days and bad. Both my sisters and I support Moms decision not to have any treatment done. She is having palliative care coming in, in the coming weeks just to giver her an extra hand. If she needs to be kept more comfortable they will be there to help as well. Over the past 20 plus years she has endeavored surgery after surgery for other intestinal problems. One year she was in the hospital with multiple surgeries more than she was out of the hospital. We have ask in the past and you all have come through with keeping her in your thoughts and prayers and I guess I will ask once again. My Mom is our backbone of our family and she always wants us to enjoy our time together and this wont be any different. She has always up beat and never ever complains about her health EVER. But I think her body is just tired of being tired. My mom has ALWAYS been here for all of us kids. No matter what stupid idiotic thing we did (and there was a lot). We have had and will continue to have many many laughs together and I am sure she will thumb her nose at me in the coming months as she always has when I have made snide comments to her. One of her most famous comments is, when we kid her about something is, she will say thats ok, you have to go to sleep sometime. Meaning thats when she is going to get me back. I love you Mom your the best!
