Thoughts and musings before I draw for 9News. 1. The Broncos have an aging QB afraid to get hit. So he hurries, hurries his throws. A lot. 2. Without Julius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders the offense is very average. 3. Make that below average because they have no running game. They are therefore a very one dimensional offense which means the defense can merely blitz the heck out of the aging QB who hurries, hurries his throws under pressure. 4. No surprise, but they have no confidence in their kicker. And, no, Matt Prater was not the answer. That kicker for the Rams looked pretty good though. 5. The defense is soft. A team often takes on the personality of its head coach. Enough said. 6. Note to officials: Any time a player launches himself (ie leaves his feet to deliver a hit) at a defenseless receiver it is illegal and worthy of expulsion and a fine. But the commissioner is too worried about making sure every team wears something that supposedly represents veterans to care. Or about covering his rear after the Ray Rice debacle. BTW the sideline gear is actually designed as just another way to sell more merchandise. 7. The NFL needs to get rid of these ridiculous throwback uniforms. BTW those are throwback uniforms are only worn as just another way to sell merchandise. As if people would clamor to wear a jersey that resembles a bumble bee. 8. The Broncos were exposed as vulnerable on offense by the Patriots. So blame todays loss on Bill Belichick if it makes you feel better. 9. Or Josh McDaniels if that helps. 10. Who BTW, are both still wienies.
