Thoughts for the day... As a human being made from a lowly dirty fluid to begin with I do not have the audacity to voice out my "opinion" over the command of Allah. I slip but I am not proud about it neither do I want to tell people how cool it is to actually "be yourself" when the deen says something totally different. Muslims need to stop trying to fit in and they should stop trying to impress people. When Allah commands something, how is it possible that we even leave a room to question it and then opine and debate about it in fact against it or take it lightly? As Muslims we first hear and obey, Islam being a way of life in which the intellect does not conflict with the belief gives us a room to know "why" most of the time but that does not mean that we base off our entire belief system on our ability to "reason" and "reject" parts of the deen. Allah is the Most Wise and our Lord is the Most Just too, so if He commands it is only the best and the ultimate. I seek refuge with Allah, I seek refuge with Allah from my own self which is inclined to error and evil. Allah says in the Quran in Surah Ahzab in verse number 36 that: It is not for a believing man or a believing woman, when Allah and His Messenger have decided a matter, that they should [thereafter] have any choice about their affair. And whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger has certainly strayed into clear error. salamai...
