Thoughts for the day: Cristiano mocks James again... Real Madrid C.F. are al set to face Liverpool for the second match, but this time Liverpool are the team on the road. It hasnt been easy for any team to come the Bernabeu and take points away from Real for quite some time now, but stranger things have happened and this Tuesdays clash has the chance to go down in the history books as that one strange match. Liverpool lost the first game and it will be looking for some measure of revenge. They might not go all out in attack this time, but they will try to at least draw, so they can leave with some pride. However, Carlo Ancelotti will be looking for maximum points, so that they can top the group, but a draw would do as well. The players might have a different idea though. Ancelotti will be forced to put out his strongest midfield, which consists of players like Isco Alarcón, James Rodriguez Oficial, Toni Kroos, Luka Modrić and Gareth Bale. The reason for this is simple; Sami Khedira and Illaramendi sat out todays training. Reports suggest that they have slight injuries. Resting them would allow them to recuperate faster. Add Fábio Coentrão and Dani Carvajal to this list and it becomes apparent why Ancelotti will put out a very strong squad. Carvajal is added to the list, because he was subbed off in the last game, but per reports, this was only done as a precautionary measure. Bale has been declared fit to play against Liverpool, but it will be up to Ancelotti to decide whether he starts on the pitch or on the bench. Cristiano Ronaldo is a man on a mission and that mission consists of scoring goals, setting/breaking records, winning championships and racking up some individual honors. Per WhoScored he creates 2.8% chances for his teammates so that they can score as well, so its obvious that Cristiano contributes in more ways than one to the team. Above all of this one thing is certain. Cristiano loves to have fun and the cameras seem to be picking that up very often nowadays. Since the arrival of James, things have heated up during the trainings, especially when it comes to the rondo (piggy in the middle). The cameras often start rolling with James in the middle and Ronaldo making fun off him when he gets nutmegd. At the beginning of the season some reporters had suggested that there was a inner-rivalry developing between these two, but those reports have faded with time and rightfully so too, as it became clear after a while that this was simply Ronaldo having some much needed fun. James is the new kid on the block and some teasing is a part of the process. Lets just hope Cristiano wont go too far and that James knows that hes simply kidding around.
