Thoughts from Jody: I just want to spout a bit, it is a good spout. My dad is not on facebook but alot of my friends here know him. He is amazing. I want to say how incredibly blessed lance and I have been to have such amazing parents, thank you Lord for putting us in such a great home! I was talking to my dad this morning and I feel so blessed. My dad is on a mission to be as healthy as possible. He has always worked on being healthy and active. It is a gift, a blessing that we can give to our friends and family to work on being healthy. My dad is 75 and the Dr. say he has the body of an athlete. What a priceless gift we can give to our kids, to be healthy. Totally priceless. I have wanted to write for years, and will do so now, that we all have choices to make in this life. In a world where we are bombarded with unhealthy choices, I believe it is a sign of maturity to choose to make healthy choices. It is our choice. Please give fruits and vegies a bigger chance to be incorporated into your day. Nobody else can make those choices for us. Again what an incredible gift to give your kids, the gift of you being healthy, being healthy means spending more quality time with friends and family while we are here on this earth. I pray that I am able to make such great choices as my dad and continue to get healthier and healthier so that my kids dont have to watch disease riddle my body for many years. This is about a quality of life. As I start my new year I am going to commit to making even better choices this year. I am not perfect and have changes to make also. This being the eve of a new year, please make a commitment to work on your health. make small changes at a time. Changes that will stick. Not just changes that will happen for the first 2 weeks but lifetime changes. You will feel better and your family hopefully will realize what you are doing for them. God bless all of you and heres praying for a gloriously healthy and happy new year!!!!!!
