Thoughts from Officer Mike... Today I got to represent the Kenyon Police Department in honoring and saying goodbye to Officer Scott Patrick of the Mendota Heights Police Department. Although I do not know this officer personally, we as law enforcement officers are all connected in this Thin Blue Line. Through my brothers and sisters, I know that Officer Patrick was a good officer and is loved by many. I could not begin to imagine what his wife and daughters are going through right now. They have lost a husband and a father and we have lost a brother in blue. The Mendota Heights Police Department has lost a family member. Our hearts and prayers go out to all of you. I can tell you that it is amazing seeing all of us come together to honor Officer Patrick. We have lost one of our own, and it makes us sad and angry. But it has united all of us, from across the country to become one of the biggest family in law enforcement. I am touched to see all the people lined up on the side to thank Officer Patrick for his service and our service during our drive. I know that for me, my bothers, and my sisters.....We will take it from here........ Stay Safe, Officer Mike Nguyen
