Thoughts from one party on immigration, I totally would buy into this. How about you? Here are the eight points that we believe must be critical components to any immigration reform. 1. Border security verification is a critical component of Immigration Reform. Failure to address this concern is a deal breaker. 2. We enthusiastically welcome legal immigration and ASSIMILATION. 3. We support the granting of "Assimilation Vouchers" for schools and programs that teach American Civics, American History and ESL. 4. Military Service should be given preferential treatment in any comprehensive immigration plan and discussion. 5. Legal and properly calibrated immigration has been historically good for America and will be in the future. 6. Whatever "pathway" is created must NOT be a vehicle of growing the social welfare state, including Obamacare. 7. Federalism needs to be respected, not disparaged. 8. Immigration should not undermine the American worker.
