Thoughts of a Seeker..ABOVE ALL WHAT WE NEED IS A MORAL CUM ETHICAL REVOLUTION IV..I read heart rending press about how the ASUU Strike must continue because government is reluctant to meet their demands. As though the lull in the education sector is not troubling enough, another vital sector downs toll, Doctors nationwide I hear are now on strike, and the political class thinks the times are normal, sad! I worry for a Country and a people who cannot read the times. I am troubled that as the tinder box ticks politicians are playing politricks with ominous realities. These are certainly times very unusual. Before violence becomes the plausible option to this anomie, I insist that we walk the path of an Ethical cum moral revolution, it is the only viable alternative that soars beyond clan, creed and colour. It is indiscriminate of tribe, section and religion, and no nation can survive no matter its structural convenience without sound ethical cum moral margins. To those who think that a break up of Nigeria is an option and the logical alternative to the miasma that pervades this clime, I say if your village is made a Country, looting and thieving will yet thrive until there is an ethical cum moral revolution, one that calls wrong, wrong and punishes offenders, and that which honours right as right.
