Thoughts on Father’s Day Sunday June 15, 2014 From Hanscom Air - TopicsExpress

Thoughts on Father’s Day Sunday June 15, 2014 From Hanscom Air Force Base, Hanscom, MA I praise God for the safe journey from Naples, Italy to Boston, MA via Munich, Germany and Chicago, IL. We are en route to Newport, Rhode Island to attend the Current Strategy Forum and graduation ceremony at Naval War College. After working over five difficult years and lots of sleepless nights, reading thousands of pages of War College books and writing hundreds of pages of research papers, I will finally receive the Master of Arts in Strategic Studies on June 20, 2014, a day before my 57TH birthday. Thank you all for your prayers. With few hours of sleep at Hanscom Inns, I woke up early this morning thinking about the children around the world without fathers. I was one of the children forty-six years ago who did not have a father to honor and celebrate on Father’s Day on June 16, 1968. I am forever thankful to the LORD for sending me “father figures” throughout my life. I am thankful to God for sending in my life’s journey my uncles Victor Locsin and USAFFE Paqueto Apuhin, Boy Scout leader Mr. Vicente Torrecampo, and most of all my spiritual father, Pastor Travis Moore who introduced me to God the Father. His father, Brother John E. Moore, and Brother Doyle Moore were father figures who made significant impact in my life. God had sent more good people in my pilgrimage…Buford Lee, Gene Lewis, David Howard, Earle Knight, Marion Wilson, Corbey Jones, Clebe McClary, Brad Stewart, Emmanuel Cortes, John Joslin, Charles Wilson, Tony Cercena, Mitch Schranz, Jim Puttler, Pete Dawson, Chris Carter, Henry Hernando, Dennis Cox, Rick Warren, Joe Weber, Masten Robeson, Mike Maamo, Dan DeGuzman, Bruce Yamashita, Tommy Driver, Bob Burt, John Keith, Dennis Rocheford, George Almeida, Don Steed, Dan Fullerton, George Thornton, Max Rondael, The Grahams, Jimmy Locsin All my seven Brothers, and hundreds of men of integrity helping me as I plodded along the way in this life’s exciting journey. I could have felt sorry for myself the rest of life when I lost my father Manuel Biadog, Sr. on September 10, 1967, but I refused to let my most challenging circumstances determined my future. I am who I am today because of what the LORD has done in my life and what He is going to do for brighter future. I am forever grateful to my mother, Emiliana (fondly called “Nanay”) and together with the help of her mother Gloria, Aunts Manggie and Angelina, finished raising the ten Biadog children without father. Perhaps millions of mothers are doing the same today. Seven years later after my earthly father died, Jesus became my personal Savior and LORD. God the Father is my spiritual Father. Summer of 1976, God called me to be His servant. He wanted me to be the bearer His Good News that Jesus died for all mankind. He has called me to help the hungry and as servant-leader, leading the sea warriors find hope and peace in the Messiah. I am doing my best staying faithful to His call, keeping my eyes focus on Jesus, and always ready to help others in need, the ones who are “the least of these” in God’s Kingdom. May the myriad of lost children and orphans will find the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE today. In Jesus’ name, Amen! HAPPY FATHER’S DAY from Massachusetts!
