Thoughts on the Yes Stall at Ballater Highland Games (BHG) today. Me and the excellent Eileen Allan did the stall today. If we had the foreigners voting Yes would win hands down! The crowd for BHG was composed of many more foreign visitors than Aboyne Games. So many Germans, Americans, French, Belgians, Spanish all wishing us well and telling us to go for it! Lots of pictures taken with us and them. On the Dark Side: Near the start one guy rolled down his car window and told us we shouldnt be here as it wasnt political. Its a while since Ive heard were not political were Tories ! And would he have objected to a No stall? Another woman came past and said No, its time we shot the wee fat fascist, we all know who I mean. Death to the FM! Im not SNP but I find it difficult to understand the loathing for Alex Salmond to the extent of wishing him dead. These people are so brainwashed. The Labour Party and the media have built him up as such a hate figure. I hope the Scottish electorate actually see the good that a Scottish Parliament has done whether Lab/Lib or SNP and vote Yes to give us full powers to take Scotland forward. Really, Scotland has to wake up and realise what is at stake.
