Thousands of anti-Semites have today succeeded in bringing central London to an almost total standstill. That is how the Spectators Douglas Murray described todays very impressive Gaza march. This is offensive in so many ways. The writer mischievously ignores the presence of many Jewish people on this march and many people who have taken part in anti-fascist campaigns against anti-semitism. It is entirely possible to be appalled by the bombing of Gaza and consistently oppose anti-semitism. I have been involved in a number of demonstrations opposing outrages against Jewish cemeteries or synagogues over the years. I do not recall Douglas Murray or his like attending any of them.
