Thousands of household appliances have been hacked to send spam If you watched the news with a recent exhibition CES- 2014 , then you ve probably seen numerous announcements of devices that can make our lives easier . By clever things these days can be safely attributed grills , dishwashers , mattresses and even toothbrushes , because they are embedded computers with full access to the Internet . But what then is the risk of breaking the remote database appliances ? Company Proofpoint, dedicated security , published data on a massive hacker attack , which suffered more than 100,000 appliances and various gadgets worldwide.
