Three Chicks and a Stage is a non-profit community theater-in-residence at the Effingham Performance Center, located in the hometown of Matt Poss Band. Three Chicks produce original works and popular comedies to provide a creative outlet for area actors and to engage regional audiences in quality theater. The companys annual Memorial Day tribute to the military is a moving retrospective that has become a local favorite. This year, the Matt Poss Band have been invited to participate in the Memorial Day Tribute, which will take place on Memorial Day, Monday, May 26 at 3:00PM. Matt and the boys will be performing three songs throughout the program, one of which will be Man Who Went Up The Mountain, a song that was written while the band was returning from their latest USO Tour in Afghanistan.
