Three Glaring things about the Jets 2014 schedule to me: 1. Aaron Rodgers, Jay Cutler, Matthew Stafford, Phillip Rivers, Peyton Manning, and Tom Brady: The QBs we face weeks 2-7. 2. Speaking of Brady on week 7, thats on a short week (TNF) after facing Manning and the Broncos. 2nd year in a row we play the Patriots on the road on a short week. 3. Home cooking early (3 home games in Sept) means tough road games late (4 of final 6 are road games after our bye) including ending the season at Miami for what seems like the 5th year in a row. Way too early to prognosticate anything because the draft has not happened and what not, but if we are indeed going to make any type of strides for success, it will not be easy. Then again, its the NFL, why want it any other way. Oh and on a side note, Week 1 at home vs the Raiders on Sept 7th happens to be my 34th Birthday. Take a wild guess where I hope to be celebrating? God meant for me to love this sport!
