Three Good Things about Yesterday : 1. Enjoyed our lunch with Beth and her boys at the McDonalds in Everett. We stayed with Jonathan and Zachariah while she took Benjamin to an appointment at the clinic. I put Zachariah to sleep, but when he woke up and was crying, this boy came over and said he was good at getting babies to stop crying. He then proceeded to dance around and squeak like a monkey. And, sure enough, Zachariah stopped crying! I soon got Zachariah back to sleep. 2. When Benjamin got back to McDonalds after his appointment he ordered his Happy Meal. He was devastated to learn that they had run out of the Mario toys and had to substitute a Smurf toy. But his sweet brother Jonathan willingly traded him his Mario cart for the Smurf figure right away. Now thats true brotherly love! 3. Got an email that our 2nd quarter bonus is going to be the largest that Comcast has ever paid out. I like the sound of that. I find out next week what my part of the bonus will be. :-) Almost makes those grumpy customers worth the grief.
