CBN in 2008, sends a letter to the then UPA1 regime supporting the creation of Telengana state and then contests against the YSR along with TRS in 2009. He bases his logic upon a secret information that Congress would never agree for Telengana. The plan horribly backfired with the comeback of Congress second time and with TRS being sucked out of life by YSR and then later sudden decision from Congress core committee to grant the new state of Telengana. Mistake 3 Finally the stage was set for Babus comeback. With public anger against Congress in the wake of state bifurcation and Jagan in jail, Babu was the lone lion of Andhra. But he only managed to mess it all up. First he decides to team up with BJP, whose PM candidate, N. Modi openly supports the creation of Telengana in a rally in Hyd.
