Three and a half years ago I spent a month in Madrid with an amazing family. I fell in love with the city, the food, the language, and the lifestyle. I met some incredible people that I miss like crazy, and since I got home Ive been counting down the days/months/years until I could return. First semester of my freshman year at Madison, I happened to sit next to this crazy girl who shared the same love for all things Spanish as I do. She was the only one who would listen to all my stories and obsess over Spanish music with me! For 2 years we have been dreaming about studying abroad in Spain together, and yesterday we were both accepted to the program to study at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid! I am SO excited to spend this spring semester living/studying in Madrid with one of my best friends. I cannot wait to start our adventure!
