Three distinct crowds on the dance floor tonight. One group was feeling the Hits/Old School. Another group was trying to rage hard to electronic dance bangers and funky House vibes. Both of these groups were ok with the variety and danced regardless. The third group, however, would ONLY dance to current ratchet/trap slaps and were flat out rude whenever I played something that wasnt aimed directly at them. Think about it. If you were the DJ, just trying to make everyone a little happy, which group would you honestly want to appeal to the least? That said, I still had a great time tonight. Showed some musical diversity. Kept the floor moving! 8-)
