Three-fold Restoration (Morris Cerullo) For years Brother - TopicsExpress

Three-fold Restoration (Morris Cerullo) For years Brother Cerullo has been teaching that a miracle is something that requires divine intervention; it cannot happen by human means. Although we usually associate miracles with physical healings, lets consider tonight, the miraculous work of restoration that God does in each of us every time we fall into remorse or regret over something weve done. Look at the example of Peter. We know that after he betrayed Jesus he was a very unhappy man, but we seldom realize that there were three parts to his restoration...and each one was a miracle! First, Jesus forgave Peter with a total forgiveness that could only be of God. Second, after Peter tried to drop out of discipleship because of remorse, Jesus restored him to undivided fellowship with his brothers. Third, Jesus restored Peter to service and gave him a new commission! How did He heal and restore Peter? By asking Peter to reaffirm his love for Him, Jesus said, Simon son of John, do you truly love me more than these? Yes, Lord, he said, you know that I love you. Jesus said, Feed my lambs. Again Jesus said, Simon son of John, do you truly love me? He answered, Yes, Lord, you know that I love you. Jesus said, Take care of my sheep (John 21:15-16, NIV). Are you in a slump of regret tonight? Have you done something that has made you deeply remorseful? If so, then know that Jesus is offering you the miracle of His three-fold restoration of forgiveness, restoration to fellowship, and a fresh commission for service! Our Evening Prayer - Lets Pray Together … God loves you and wants to answer your prayer. Say this prayer with me: Heavenly Father, thank you for being a God of restoration. Tonight, I long for Your miraculous three-fold restoration in my life. I humbly ask You to forgive me, restore me to fellowship, and give me a fresh start in service to You. In Jesus Name, Amen.
