Three graphs to start your day. The first one shows the last - TopicsExpress

Three graphs to start your day. The first one shows the last 10,000 years of Earths climate as recorded from Greenland ice-cores. Notice the trend... The second (5 million years) and third (65 million years) are graphs showing the planets climate as recorded from deep-ocean sediment cores from many parts of the world. Again, notice the trend... So, tell me again why we are getting in such a flap about runaway warming, when the trend seems to be downwards into cooling. Also, do you see humanitys impact on the global temperature reflected in those graphs? You dont? Well neither do I. Yes we do have a localised impact on the environment which ought to be addressed - contaminated waterways, erosion, soil salinity etc., but the big picture climatic shifts are things that humanity has no control over, and spending billions upon trillions of dollars to try and stop warming (and impoverishing the West as a result) is nothing but lunacy. Just imagine what good could be done with that money if our politicians and leaders had not been sucked in (some of them willingly) into that con. p.s. Just because Hollywood celebrities believe the con, doesnt make it true. Source: joannenova.au/2010/02/the-big-picture-65-million-years-of-temperature-swings/
