Three in 10 cases of Alzheimers disease could be prevented if people led healthier lifestyles, exercising more and not smoking, research by scientists from Cambridge University, Kings College London, and San Francisco suggests. The researchers identified seven main risk factors which are: diabetes, mid-life hypertension, mid-life obesity, physical inactivity, depression, smoking and low educational attainment.
