The dots stand up in relief on the interior of the vortex, and while the white background makes photography hard, but theres a lot of depth to the vortex. Between each of the sets of raked dots is a row of red dots. The backing is pale aqua blue with 5 layers of dots (navy/white/red/white/teal) raked together at the base. Between each set of raked dots is a row of lilac/teal dots. TI Signed CPR 2015 1 5/8 diameter $110 #2 Fumed vortex w/ pinwheel backing A silver fume vortex with black backing and 6 pinwheeled dotstacks (5 x lilac/sapphire/clear/teal dots) around the equator and a large pinwheel on black background. The bottom is a layered pinwheel done in light and dark blues. TI signed CPR 2014 1 5/8 diameter $55 #3 Fume vortex and raked dotstacks The vortex is made with hand mixed silver glass and white stringers on a black background. The silver glass ended up looking a lot like fume, but by trapping tiny bubbles and flecks of silver in it the glass has an almost aventurine sparkle to it in places. The backing is TAG red blizzard with 5 pairs of white and blue raked dotstacks pulling to a clean termination at the base. This one has been in my personal collection for a while because I love the backing on it, but I find that having a sad empty spot in my collection forces me to make exciting new things.
