Three men are in custody in Monterey County after they were busted on Saturday afternoon in King City. King City’s Acting Police Chief Bruce Miller said dispatch got a report of graffiti being sprayed at King City High School. Police found the suspect vehicle and at a traffic stop, police said one of the passengers threw a revolver out of the vehicle in the 200 block of South Mildred Avenue. Police recovered the loaded gun and several cans of spray paint. The driver, 23 year old Santiago Valentin and two passengers 20 year old Jesus Valentin and 22 year old Jose Chavez were arrested and charged with gang related activities including gang member in possession of a loaded firearm, destroying evidence, and probation violation. All three are in jail.
