Three men have been arrested after a quick thinking member of the public called police after noticing a car had crashed on North East Road, Millbrook. Just before midnight the member of the public saw a white Holden commodore had crashed and four men near the car. The men flagged down a member of the public before being driven away from the crash scene. Police were called and managed to locate the vehicle who picked up the men in Gumeracha where they were dropped. Cordons were set up by Holden Hill and Hills Fleurieu patrols, with the help of police dog ‘Rugger’ three of the four men were located. The men were allegedly in possession of stolen property from a break-in and the car they crashed was stolen. All three men a 22 year-old, 28 year-old and 19-year old have been charged with aggravated serious criminal trespass, illegal use and theft. The 22-year-old has also been charged with breaching bail. The men all from Murray Bridge have been refused police bail and will appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court later today. Police are following enquiries to locate the fourth man.
