Three weeks ago one of our longest serving admins and our beautiful friend Bec, was diagnosed with a massive brain tumor. She has since had surgery to remove the tumor, and has started her recovery process, but still has a long road ahead of her. Bec has dedicated many years to helping animals in need, both through her role on this page, and as a foster carer and volunteer for a few different rescue organisations. Understandably, Bec needs to focus on herself for now, so we are asking everyone if they can help us find homes for her two gorgeous foster cats, Pearl and Lucinda, by sharing our post and their photos. Both cats are available for adoption through Lost Souls Animal Rescue, and have been sterilised, microchipped and vaccinated. We have included a little blog about each ones personality, which will be attached to each photo. Anyone wishing to adopt either cat, can call Mel on 0403 672 486, as approved by LSARs President. Lucinda is cute as a button, black tortoiseshell, female, DSH who is around 2 and a half years old. After being with my lovely foster mummy and daddy for some time, I am ready to find a calm, quiet home where my personality can shine. You see I am like a flower just waiting to bloom. Deep down I crave attention, but I hang back as I dont like to step on my other foster siblings toes. I want so much to be patted and cuddled, its just that I lack the confidence to take the first step. With a little more one on one time, I am sure I would be the perfect companion for a couple or single, looking for an independent cat. My ideal human would be someone who is understanding and patient, and will allow me to come out of my shell in my own time, while being an inside cat. My adoption fee is $80. Pearl is a stunning white, female, DSH who is around 2 years old. After finding myself pregnant and alone on the streets, I have raised all my little princes and princesses, and am now looking for my very own fairy tale ending. I am quite the social butterfly, who adores being around people and being the center of your world. I am also happy to share a home with other furry friends, on the provision that they are quiet and give me my space most of the time. With my lovely nature, I would be suited to most family situations, however as with all ladies, I do need handling with care. Due to my lovely white coat, I will need to be an inside only cat or have access to shaded cat run out of the sun. My adoption fee is $120.
