Three years after the #Fukushima #nuclear disaster, Japan’s new nuclear regulatory agency declared Wednesday that two reactors at the Sendai power plant on the southern island of Kyushu are safe to operate. However, opinion polls have shown that the public remains skeptical about both the safety of the plants and the ability of Prime Minister Abe’s governing Liberal Democratic Party to ensure that safety.
