Three years ago 7-9 Oct 2011, Libyan Womens Libyan Womens Peace Platform منبر المراه الليبية من اجل السلام for Peace was launched in Cairo when a group of 35 women convened and were determined to work together to ensure that there is an inclusive and just transition in Libya and that women would b integral of that transition to peaceful Libya. This documentary was filmed in the second anniversary of the Libyan Revolution 17 Feb 2013. A lot has happened since! We have lost dear friends. It is to those we have lost during our journey that I dedicate this documentary. To my dear friend and partner Salwa Bughaighis سلوى بوقعيقيص, who is featured in this documentary and who shared with us all the dream of a peaceful Libya. I will also want to thank all of those incredible women leaders I have known and worked with throughout the past three year.
