Three years ago, I had my confidence shaken tremendously on horseback. (Or, rather, off horseback, lol.) I struggle every ride (on new horses, especially) to get past those issues. Which as you may imagine, sort of sucks for someone in my line of work.. But every new ride, I am conquering the mental aspect. And Ive also learned to move much, much slower than I once did. These are great tips. I also recommend short horses, who will dump you at a MUCH more reasonable height! :D Thanks for sharing, Kate Love! I really want to be you when I grow up!
