Three years ago this month I was called in for my first interview at BuzzFeed. And without a doubt, getting a job there changed my life. Since then, I have been able to do things I never could have imagined. Ive met a lot of famous animals and eaten a lot of weird fast food. Most importantly, Ive met so many incredible people that the thought of an alternate reality where I didnt apply for that first comment moderator job opening frightens me to my very core. So I suppose its kind of a fitting time to make a formal announcement that Ive been putting off. Im excited/nervous/terrified/overwhelmed to sort of start all over again. In February, Ill be moving to England and working out of BuzzFeeds London office and taking this whole journalism thing to a new part of the world. Ill have more details soon. But I just want to tell everyone how lucky I feel and how desperately I want to see all of you before I leave.
