Three years ago tonight Keep Your Friends Close came out. I don’t listen to it often, but when I do it brings back a whole world. Who I was then, living in snowy Ithaca, getting used to walking the hills. Garden of the Angels was the song that started the record. It makes sense, I was trying to figure out distance and change. And loyalty. I’ve still got a bad habit of holding on to what has finished. You may have heard my music for the first time three years ago. Maybe earlier, or maybe just now. No matter when, it’s incredible how many people have told me the songs have affected them and stuck with them over the years. Thank you - and really no amount of thanks will say it. I am so grateful for any positive impact my music has. My closest friends that made Keep Your Friends Close with me are the same people creating There’s More To Life. We’ve got some more on board this time and I can’t wait to get out on the road and play some shows, to show you everything that we’ve been working on.
