Three years ago two young women with family ties that reach into Kitti here on Pohnpei went missing on Saipan. The Honolulu office of the FBI has announced that the search for the missing girls is expanding to Hawaii, Oregon, and Washington. This week the National Center for Missing and Exploited children released age progressed images of what Faloma and Maleina Luhk might look like today. Falomas photo is shown age-progressed to 13 years and Maleinas photo is shown age-progressed to 12 years. They were last seen at the bus stop near their home in the village of As Tao, Saipan, on May 25, 2011. Faloma was last seen wearing a light green shirt with a butterfly design and blue jeans. Maleina was last seen wearing a white blouse and blue jeans. She has a birthmark on her left cheek. This case remains classified by the FBI as a kidnapping.
