Three years and six months Mat24:29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: In the original writings there were no verse numbers but I purposely separated Mat24 verse 29 above from verse 30 because between the two there is a period of three and half days / years of Rev11 which is post ZIF17 2011 to the day of the resurrection and the rapture at the last day which we read about in verse 30 and 31 below. Mat24:30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. The sun be darkened is speaking of the SUN of righteousness (Christ) that rises with healing in his wings (salvation) of Mal 4:2 darkened and as God declared and said “yet seven days” in Genesis the sixth seal of Rev6 was opened on ZIF17 2011 and the SUN of Mal 4:2 became black as sackcloth of hair (end of salvation) and the one week covenant of the messiah came to an end. And this is why the two witnesses of Rev11 were finished with their testimony. Rev11:7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them. And the killing of the two witnesses (true believers) was fulfillment of Dan7:21. Dan8:24 And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people. Dan 7:21 “and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them” They were killed when ZIF17 2011 came to past as nothing happened and simultaneously God cast a snare upon the whole earth (Luke21:35). And then we read …. Rev11:11 And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them. And as I have indicated the three and half days of Rev11 above ties to the one week covenant of the messiah and three and half days of the ministry of Christ which actually had 1285 days. And as we are speaking of the ministry of Christ the 1335 days of Dan 12 comes to view but likewise the three years and six month of Elijah. Luke4:25 But I tell you of a truth, many widows were in Israel in the days of Elias, when the heaven was shut up three years and six months, when great famine was throughout all the land; 26 But unto none of them was Elias sent, save unto Sarepta, a city of Sidon, unto a woman that was a widow. Jams 5:17 Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months. Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are. Just as the two witnesses of Rev11 being killed the prophets of the LORD were killed in the days of Elijah. 1King17:1 And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, As the LORD God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word. 1King18:1 And it came to pass after many days, that the word of the LORD came to Elijah in the third year, saying, Go, shew thyself unto Ahab; and I will send rain upon the earth. The reference of “no rain” for 3 years and 6 months is given in the New Testament twice but why? Why is God emphasizing on the three years and six months of Elijah?
