Threshold Church, an up and coming church forming in Newnan, invites the community to its first public event, “A Threshold Christmas, planned for Thursday, Dec. 11, at 6:30 p.m. at Ashley Park in Newnan. The free event will feature live reindeer, cupcakes, hot cocoa and Christmas carols. Heading up the new church is seasoned pastor and Newnan resident, Quincy Brown, a long-time pastoral leader in the North Georgia United Methodist Conference, who announced the new church last summer. When asked about the style of the new church, Brown said it will be blended in terms of traditional and contemporary.
