Thrilled to announce our Always with Hope Malaria Free Society Campaign!! WEEMA International and Bobi Spilker have joined together to fight malaria in southern Ethiopia. WEEMA’s Always With Hope Malaria Free Society campaign aims ito reduce the rates of malaria cases through prevention education, with emphasis on proper net care and repair. Our work is in collaboration with the local government and will coincide with the distribution of 44,000 insectide treated nets. We are targeting 2 kebeles in the Hadero Tunto district, Kembata Tembaro Zone. This campaign will occur over a 6 month period, December 2013- May 2014. It will focus on grassroots interventions including community-led meetings and household visits by local heath leaders. We will empower families with knowledge!
