Through a P0731 code tonight...shift solenoids or transmission mechanical problems When it threw the code, I was leaving a red light and the truck wouldnt shift out of 1st gear. Luckily I was turning into my neighborhood, so I didnt have far to go. Never shifted out of 1st till I pulled up to my driveway and backed into my garage. It has done this once before when I was pulling onto the interstate. Once again, not shifting out of 1st gear. I tried shifting through all the gears, even reverse, park, and let it roll in neutral. Eventually had to shut the truck off and restart. But it never threw a code. If it is still acting up in the morning, Im going to try and drop it off at the dealership tomorrow since Ill be gone for the weekend. Hopefully its nothing major.
