Through determination, stubbornness, luck, (God - in my case), and the help of a network of loving individuals, we have recovered at least 2 pets a week for the last several weeks. The ones who are not yet home haunt us day and night, so PLEASE keep sharing! Those we didnt recover alive give me nightmares. Thank you for all who support the cause of saving dogs and reuniting pets; who spend their time and money searching for pups! If youd like to help, and cannot physically search, we have bought a ton of supplies, but still need some more even if you can offer advice on where to get them cheap - that is a huge help! You may have this stuff lying around that you were going to toss. 1. Small, lightweight, durable and powerful (bright) flashlights cheap. We often search caves and spots where pups can curl up to keep warm. But we cant hike with too much weight. The ones we have found arent bright enough or are too heavy. 2. Ive ordered 2 way radios, but we could use a backup set if anyone has a used pair. 3. The same with trail cams. We have purchased one, but could use used ones you dont want. 4. We have already used all of our old blankets recovering deceased and cold pups from the snow. Could use more. Towels too. We often need to wrap the cold pups up! 5. If anyone has lightweight containers of dog food - like those little Caesars cans or plastic tubs- and cant use them or return them - we use a TON each week to leave out for cold pets we are looking for. We use a box of treats each week. Large cans we use, but cant hike with. 6. First aid supplies for both humans and pets! We each have a kit, but already went through two boxes of gloves and some antiseptic wipes/bandages. It would be helpful to have kit in our cars to restock from. Anything helps. We keep quick stop on hand in case a dog is bleeding. 7. Flyering supplies. Paper and toner cartridges. If you no longer use a printer and it still has some ink - we may have a printer it works with! We would love to be able to print flyers as we search. Looking into a portable printer to have in car. Plastic sheet protectors, packing tape, staple guns, staple refills always key in spreading the word quickly. Many owners cant afford to print flyers. Every owner should have help to find their pup so anything you no longer need allows us to help another pup! Thanks to each of you who have offered to help. Please continue to share and ask your friends to like our page! Youve assisted in reuniting 12 pets over the last several weeks! Not including the ones that we merely posted and were brought home! I give that credit to the larger lost dog reporting pages!
