Through generous contributions of parent’s time and donations, check out what your HHS PTO has accomplished already in September: The HHS PTO was able to provide the following class enhancements toward our students learning enrichment: - Fully funding the HHS Hero / Character Building Program. This exciting program will be boosted through enrichment speakers and the initiation of HTV student programming! - Four (4) additional Smart Board Tablets which allow the teachers to write / draw on the Smart Board from anywhere in the room. The 2ND & 4TH classes have benefited tremendously from their implementation. The HHS PTO hopes to put one in each classroom by the end of this school year. - A Digital Camera for each classroom to support the HHS Hero / Character Program and catch those magical teaching moments through photo’s and video! - Sound proofing and area rugs for the Differential Learning Program (DLP) room. - A 25% increase in funds provided to each Teacher to purchase classroom supplies. - New PE Equipment for Mrs. Robertson. - New Playground materials. - Continued annual funding for the Media Center Reading Program. In addition to the upcoming events, the HHS PTO is still working toward: - New Area Rug for the HHS Lobby. - A New HHS Flag for the flag pole. - Replacing the Ball Pit Game in the Playground. - Repainting the Courtyard picnic tables.
