Through my learning years I always tried lots of different plug ins to see what they all do. I think I have finally reached a new understanding and I think its really liberating me from the tyranny of obscene amounts of choices. Its all about knowing and feeling what you aim to achieve sonically before you ever open up that long list of processing choices. Knowing what you want and knowing which tools will help you achieve that is critical.
