Through the woods on the east side of Smithville is this great big huge round ball of fire rising through the trees as birds sing background music; a wonderful combination on this Lords Day. Now, if only the thermometer on the post would get the hint and start moving too! Let a little sun shine in; let a little sunshine in; clear the darkened windows, open wide the door, let a little sunshine in. I guess whether we see it or not the sun always rises every morning; no, we cant wipe away the clouds that block the sun in the sky, but we can wipe away the clouds that prevent the Light from heaven to enter our hearts each day. Just as the sunflower bows its head and turns toward the light; lets do likewise. On this Lords Day lets take the time and make the effort to bend toward the Light and go where the Light seems to be the brightest, to church! No darkness have we who in Jesus abide; the Light of the world is Jesus; we walk in the Light when we follow our guide, the Light of the world is Jesus. Come to the Light, tis shining for thee; sweetly the Light has dawned upon me; once I was blind, but now I can see; the Light of the world is Jesus. Let there be light; and there was light! Praise the Lord for a beautiful sunrise this morning as we approach the celebration of the most beautiful Sonrise ever known to mankind!
