Throughout Alberta and around the world, Sikhs are celebrating the birthday of their spiritual leader, Guru Nanak Dev Ji. His message of truth, compassion and tolerance continues to inspire followers, as well as people of other faiths. Alberta is home to a large Sikh community and today is an opportunity to reflect on the many contributions Sikh Canadians have made in towns and cities across our province. To all those celebrating today, I wish you, your family and loved ones the very best.
