Throughout History we have always had an tremendous eventful situation that engraves a moment in time. Just in our great country alone we have the episodes that in many ways define us. We the revolutionary war, the civil war, slavery, the assassination of Abraham Lincoln, the world wars, the civil rights movements, the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr, President Kennedy and his brother, the missile crisis and other life changing events. Today commentates the worse day in our country during my time on earth, it was the day I will never forget because its the day God saw fit to save my life. You see, many dont know this, but I missed those planes by 15 minutes, i was the last train to leave the World Trade Center. Two planes penetrated our sky line and change the course of our lives forever. These planes crashed into the World Trade Center and killed many people and my heart goes out to those who are grieving the lost of their family members and friends. But as we are mourn for our losses I wanted to take the time to remind us that we have always been a called nation, even with all the heartaches God has called us to be the light of the world. In Genesis 48:19 Jacob blesses his two youngest grandchildren and makes an oath for America - and Great Britain. “He (Manasseh) also shall become a people, and he also shall be great; but truly his younger brother (Ephraim) shall be greater than he, and his descendants shall become a multitude of nations.” Genesis 48:19 What I am appealing to you to understand is that God is in the midst of all of problems we face and promises us this - weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning. Psalm 30:5 LET US ENCOURAGE EACH OTHER AS LONG AS IT IS CALLED TODAY ABOUT THE SAVING, COMFORTING AND HEALING LOVE OF JESUS CHRIST! Hebrews 3:13 FOR in Hebrews 12:3 it tells us we have hope, we still have a future to obtain: it says, Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart. It isnt easy to go through such things but we serve a God that is bigger than the evil that is running rampart in our streets and running rampart in our cities, and all over the world. So be encourage people of God, be encourage America, let us not forget 9/11 and let us not forget Jesus words, Do not be afraid, for I have overcome the world.
