Throughout history, many different groups of people have purveyed terror upon their fellow man, resulting in massive death tolls. Sometimes its the first strike, and others its the retaliation. Were angered by two things; Firstly when someone did something we didnt want them to do, and secondly, when someone doesnt do something that we did want them to do. It comes down to being selfish, and imposing our will on them.. Countries are made up of people; Sometimes one is at the helm, and other times its a governing body of several people.. When these things happen between Countries, and their containing Societies, people die. Lives are lost, and families broken. Heroes and cowards alike die together.. This day, in 1941, was one such day in history, at Pearl Harbor. I am slowly losing hope for the civility of the human race. In the last hundred years, weve never advanced so far, yet gone so far backwards. Its going to be our children, and their children, that will have to pull together to pull it out if it can be done. The world would be better changed by old men with books, rather than young men with swords, but I dont see it happening. Please take a moment to utter a silent thought, to whomever you feel is running the show, in hope for Mankind in general.
