Throughout my 5 short years as a photographer, I have called out to all sorts of people for all sorts of things. I have asked simple and complex questions. I have assisted some incredibly inspiring individuals. Ive been second shooter. Ive worked as lead photographer. Ive worked for very large sums of money and Ive worked for no money at all. Ive been hired by individuals who no one has ever heard of. Ive been sought out and hired by companies whos names and brands are know all over the world. Ive learned from others and Ive learned from my self. Ive shared my knowledge with those who have asked for it, with patience, passion and openness. Ive found friends in total strangers. Ive been accepted as a colleague by those I consider to be great, in my field. I have found mentors in those who I hoped to some day emulate in my work and have even landed side by side working with some of them on occasion. I try to always openly and quickly communicate with those who reach out to me for direction or help. I expect as much from those I reach out to, in kind. I dont always get what I want. Sometimes, i get much more. On some occasions I get that which Ive been avoiding, and I never knew that I needed. Sometimes I seek it out and sometimes I have only to look within. Ive been warmly and openly received. I have been coldly and quietly ignored. Ive been praised Ive been scorned. For all of it... and for all those who have played some part in my journey... Thank you! Thank you for your friendship and guidance. I hope we can all continue down this path of love, life and lesson together.
