Throughout my pregnancy I had to pray because there were so many forces trying to stop my sonshine from making it into this world. He arrived at 6:30 am weighing in at 3lbs. He was perfect, and only had to stay in the Hospital to put on a little weight. At about 2 years old we discovered his musical talent. He played the piano like he had had lessons. Then we got him a playschool drum. Wow, was he a drumming toddler. He blossomed into our church drummer at the ripe old age of 6. He has been Mr. Music every since. I initially thought that his love for church was all about the music. I now know that he truly loves God. He is a minstrel with an amazing love of God. I can not thank God enough for allowing me to be the vessel that brought him into the world. I have always known that he is going to do amazing things on stages all over the world. Today my sonshine Amir Edwards is 19 years old. While I miss my little boy, I am so proud of the MAN he has become. Happy Birthday my Mir. I love him like fresh air ❤
